Machu Picchu By Car (2430 meters above sea level)

At 08:00 a.m. Approximately, it will be the meeting with our transporter at the reception of your hotel or in a central location, then we will begin our trip to Hidroeléctrica. The car trip will take approximately 6 hours. During the journey, we will be able to appreciate impressive landscapes, passing through the heights of Abra Málaga to the green jungle of Santa María and Santa Teresa. There we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant and then we will continue by car to Hidroeléctrica. From this point we will begin to walk for 2 hours and 30 minutes, following the train track, to reach the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. In Aguas Calientes you will have dinner and spend the night.

In the morning after breakfast we will go up either by bus or walking to the entrance of Machu Picchu. We will try to arrive at the ruins in time for sunrise, we will begin our guided tour of approximately 3 hours. Touring the main places such as: the guardian enclosure, the temple of the sun, the Intiwatana, the temple of the three windows, the sacred plaza, the temple of the condor, the sacred rock and others, then we will have a couple of hours at our disposal to continue exploring the ruins on our own. Around noon we will have to go down by bus or walking to the Puente Ruinas, then we will walk back to Hidroeléctrica, where the mobility will be waiting for us to return to Cusco. Arriving in Cusco around 10.00 p.m. of the night.
